Everyone loves videogames but most players haven’t got a clue how it all started, well that’s about to change if your that type of guy who is to lazy to read about history on wikipedia and you are more of a visual dude than Kyle Downes created an entirely animated 3D piece called “A Short Visual History of Videogames”.

It is a 3 minute long “visual essay”  about the history of videogame consoles, from 1972 when Ralph Baer invented the Odyssey with Bob Tremblay, to the launch of the current generation of consoles and beyond.
